Spectacular Racing day at Toliva Shoal Race 2015 out of Olympia on S/V Regin Maker

Great delivery of S/V Reign Maker to Olympia with my kids. First time for all 3 of us to go under Tacoma Narrows bridge. They had an on and off again relationship with traveling on a boat for about 9 hours, but overall the had fun. They both ran around with single layer and didn’t complain of being cold, I’m not sure how they can handle that!

Race day started out nice and sunny and the wind gave us a run for our money, changing several times throughout the race. Flew a new asymmetrical spinnaker for the last part of the race and sure got our work out this race with several sail and spinnaker changes.

The delivery home was beautiful and going under Tacoma Narrows Bridge at night, after driving over it for so many years was a lot of fun, especially since I was at the helm! The nights sky brought on spectacular colors and a full shot of a moon and the planet Venus too!
